FAQS

Your Questions Anticipated

Choosing the ideal holiday house isn’t always a simple decision, when you have multiple people in your group to please. So here, you’ll find answers to the most frequently asked questions I get from my guests, to help you make your decision.

How To Book

Please check availability online and either email jeanirodgers@gmail.com or call me on 07775027033 to  book. I will then send you a confirmation email and deposit request, with my bank details for you to transfer 15% deposit Plus £100 cleaning fee. The balance is due 7 days before check in.

Access to the house

On receipt of your payment, I email you your check in pack which includes house access details.

Parking

The house has private parking for 5 cars. This is rare in Camber.

Is the house suitable for elderly/less mobile guests?

The house was designed with a bedroom on the ground floor and no steps to the front door, with this group in mind. The front door is also wheelchair wide. The purpose built garden house with en suite bathroom is great for guests who would like to be away from the house at night. Although it has one step up. At your beach you’ll find a flat surface at the carpark, leading onto the cafe deck, ideal for people who don’t want to use steps or be on the sand.

Are you kid and baby friendly?

Absolutely! I provide a travel cot, bedding and high chair on request. The back garden is enclosed so they will be safe. I can connect you to a registered childminder if required.

Dogs?

So welcome! I don’t charge extra for dogs and can provide beds for them. If you want to bring more than 3 dogs please talk to me first.

Grocery Delivery

Supermarket

BJ’s mimi mart is a few mins walk ( then left out of the house then right) and they have all the necessities. A bigger supermarket is Jempsons in Rye. Near the train station. Closed Sundays but open until 10pm most nights. You’ll find Salts Farm Shop en route from Rye to Camber just before the only right hand turn you need to make. There’s a good butcher and greengrocer/florist on Cinque Ports Street in Rye.
