The Camber Beach Guest House, situated 3 minute's walk from Unesco protected Camber Sands, in East Sussex, UK, is the culmination of a dream that began with a sketch on a plane ride. It’s a Hamptons style, shingle fronted, luxury house, decorated with handpicked furniture and pieces from around the world. We have 5 en suite double bedrooms and a large secure backyard. Rare in Camber, we offer secure parking for 5 cars.
The house was completed in 2019 by award winning Architects, RX.
Guests can book a chef or caterer through us, a registered childminder, yoga master and dog sitter, on request.
Just over an hour from St Pancras in London, Camber Sands is 10 minutes from Medieval town of Rye, whose eclectic shops, galleries and eateries are second to none. The annual Jazz Festival is world famous as is the annual bonfire Festival in November.
Rye also offers a great selection of eateries and is within 20 mins drive to Hastings and 30 mins to Dungeness, home of Derek Jarman's Prospect Cottage.
ACCOMODATION
The house has five double bedrooms, all ensuite, which is unusual in a holiday let. Four rooms have showers and one has a bath-shower combo. Three bedrooms are upstairs with one downstairs and a further bedroom in the purpose built garden house. The downstairs bedroom has doors leading to the garden. The front door is wheelchair friendly and there are no steps into the house for this reason.
The large open plan living area has doors to the garden and features a large modular sofa, two armchairs and a dining table for 10. Above the fireplace you’ll find a flat screen TV with Amazon Fire TV with Apple TV, Netflix, Disney, Hayu, Amazon Prime, Amazon Music etc as well as terrestrial channels.
The chef’s kitchen is fully stocked with all your cooking needs, a Nespresso coffee machine, a NIkola Tesla hob, 2 ovens and 2 fridge freezers and a dishwasher.

DOG FRIENDLY
At Camber Beach Guest House, dogs are considered family. Who wants to leave their best friend at home when they could be whirling through the dunes and running on endless stretches of sandy beach, in all weathers!
Our back garden is designed with humans and pooches in mind. It is secure with wraparound fencing. The downstairs bedroom has patio doors for those early morning tinkle trips outside. And the humans can share the outdoor shower with their pooch to warm them up or cool them down after a beach trot or one of the famous 1066 Country walks.
Nearby Rye is extremely dog friendly and I have a local dog sitter if it's too hot to take your dog there in high summer, or perhaps you’ll want to go to our local Kino cinema. I can supply comfy beds and blankets on request.
